When it comes to building a custom home the real difference is in the quality and option of material used. Our clients have the option to customize every detail of their home, to get exactly what they want. A regular home does not allow for such specific choices, a buyer would typically be given 3 options to choose from and that means potentially not getting the exact look they’ve envisioned.
This is the number 1 question we get, and yet the hardest to answer. Unfortunately, there is no way to quote price per square foot based solely on the size of the home. Every element of the design from the type of tile or wood to the quality of finishes can affect the cost. We work closely with you to make sure you’re getting the design and quality you want while staying within your budget.
Once we’ve completed the design and pricing to your satisfaction, the next step is to acquire the proper permits and build your home. You can anticipate the construction of your home to take up to 6-8 months. Keep in mind, the larger the home the longer it takes.
The size of your home is determined by the zoning in your area. We are very familiar with the process and are more than happy to help you determine the city requirements & design a home within those guidelines that meet your needs, wants and budget.
This is the fun part! We have an incredible interior designer in-house that will help you every step of the way, guiding you through the entire building process so you can actually see your home design come to life right in front of your eyes!
From concept to completion we are there with you to design your house plan and streamline construction in order to minimize changes during construction. We understand and recognize that this is your home, so if at any point in the process you would like to make changes we encourage you to speak with us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
An infill build is when we build on your own property. This could be in an established neighbourhood or on your private acreage. We are experts in this type of build and will be there to guide you through each and every decision from demolition of existing structures to utility hook-ups and house placement.
